A booking entry does not reveal the final outcome. New York records can also be corrected or sealed, so an old copy may no longer reflect the lawful status. Check each disposition with the originating court and compare a personal fingerprint record through DCJS when appropriate.

Verify a court appearance with the proper clerk, custody with the Franklin County Jail or DOCCS, a possible warrant with the issuing court or sheriff, and a registry entry with the New York State Sex Offender Registry.
