Why We Built This Site

New York separates police reports, jail bookings, court files, fingerprint records, custody data, and registry entries. In Franklin County, the Sheriff's Department answers booking and county-law-enforcement questions, while Supreme and County Court or the correct village or town court keeps the filed case. DCJS offers Personal Record Review for a person's own fingerprint record. New York State Courts supplies WebCrims and the paid CHRS product, and DOCCS maintains state custody and parole lookups.
